Hello guys!

Training is on this sunday - our very last training for the term!
Come down, huck all your stress and shit away, 1 - 7!

As of next week, all trainings will cease(that means including tuesdays). The next time you'd be touching a disc with us would be during the camp! Just one point to note, I would like everyone who still needs improvements with their basic throws to do this:

Imagine you're on the field. I want you to visualize yourself throwing a disc. Pivot, and snap. Pivot, and snap. All the while releasing the disc to your partners chest level. Because we dont have trainings physically with you guys, I hope that you could train your mind to be more routined to a backhand and a forehand.

If possible, go to the extent of holding the disc and practice your throws (positions only, dont release!): meaning pivoting and the arm action.

Keep this in your minds. Flick the disc to make it spin, only when the disc spins, then will it travel. Your aims now are to have a straight flying disc. Meaning the travel must be straight, and the disc must be spinning, not wobbly-ing.

Everytime you guys throw a disc, if it doesnt go how you wanted it to, ask yourself why. Did you not flick the disc enough?, did you release too late?, did you release it too early?, at the point of release was your disc not parallel to the ground?

Correct yourself at the next throw, keep correcting until your throws are straight, and when your throws are straight, remember how you threw it, then try to duplicate the same throw. Only when you guys can keep your throws consistent, the travel straight, no wobbly discs, have you guys improved.

When both your forehand and backhand throws are straight, then you guys may want to try other stuffs.

With response to the Jessica's tag, does anyone want to study together and be Ultimate Nerds? RSVP on the tagboard asap before this Sunday's training, then I'll plan something out of it!

See you guys when I finally do!
